Hearing Aids

The cost of hearing aids is not related to the style of the device but rather the sophistication of the technology. For you, that means there are hearing aids available that can assist with the hearing challenges you face and match your lifestyle.

Our team will recommend the most appropriate options according to your hearing and expectations. We have options for everyone.

Hearing Aid Styles

Most styles offer a range of technologies. Our team will help identify which technology level and style would be most suitable for you.

Receiver-In-Canal/Receiver-In-The-Ear (RIC/RITE) Technology

This aid works by placing a speaker (or receiver) in the ear canal and a reduced-size housing behind the ear. This option is the choice for users who want the most discreet and desirable look.

Invisible-In-The-Canal (IIC) Technology

These devices are located in the ear canal and are discreet and comfortable. They are suitable for best for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Completely-In-The-Canal (CIC) Technology

For a completely unobtrusive look, choose this small-but-effective CIC device. It fits snugly – and near invisibly – in your ear canal. Each device is custom-fitted to your ear’s shape.

In-The-Canal (ITC) Technology

Want something a bit larger? Choose an ITC aid that fits almost entirely within the ear canal. It’s easy to insert and remove. Like the CIC model, it is custom-fitted to your measurements.

In-The-Ear (ITE) Technology

An ITE device completely fills the outer ear bowl. Other people will barely notice your hearing aid, but you’ll get sound clarity and functional ease.

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) Technology

If you want an easy-to-handle hearing aid, choose a BTE. You’ll wear this device behind the ear. Like the previous options, a BTE requires a custom fit.

Accessories and Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive listening devices work with your hearing aid to enhance your ability to hear in specific situations, such as in noise or on the phone.

The accessories and assistive listening devices that we recommend will be based on your habits at home, work and beyond. Our team will consider the features that you will actually want to use.

Hearing Aid Batteries

Since we restock batteries regularly, you can be confident they last as long as possible. We include a five-year supply of batteries with the purchase of new hearing aids – visit the clinic or phone us to receive your next supply of hearing aid batteries.

Custom Molds and Earplugs

Get custom earmolds, musician plugs, swim plugs and noise plugs to protect your ears against potential damage. Depending on the materials and style, you can get a custom mold to minimize unwanted noise while allowing you to hear the sounds that are wanted.

  • How much are hearing aids?

Modern hearing aids come in a wide range of styles and technology levels, which means they also come in a range of prices. We have a device for everyone. Your clinician will suggest the hearing aids that have the best potential to help you hear in the environments where you struggle the most, and they will take into account the features and technology that fit with your lifestyle.

  • Are the costs of hearing aids covered by public health care?

Although there are public programs to cover the costs of hearing aids for some groups of people, they are not universally covered. If you’re eligible for funding, your clinician will assist you in completing the necessary applications.

  • What if my new hearing aids don’t help?

When you start using new hearing aids, it takes time for your body and brain to adjust. Our clinicians will suggest strategies to help you acclimatize quicker, and we will be clear on what you can expect from your new devices.

We offer a risk-free trial on all new hearing aids. If your new hearing aids do not provide the benefits that you were expecting, you can return them to the ACNA.
