Ashlea Andres

Registered Audiologist

M.Cl.Sc., R.Aud

Ashlea has been a part of the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta team for a number of years, first as a technician and then as an audiologist. In fact, it was the work that Ashlea did as a technician in 2007 and 2008, interacting with clients and helping them with their communication needs, that inspired her to apply to complete her graduate studies in the field of audiology. Ashlea was fortunate to be accepted at Western University, whose audiology program is internationally renowned. Ashlea’s work at Western provided her with a strong foundation in pediatrics, amplification and aural rehabilitation, as she was able to learn directly from some of the world’s foremost researchers in these topics.
After finishing her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 2011, Ashlea re-joined the ACNA team as a full-time audiologist. Some of her duties include hearing assessments, prescription and dispensing of amplification, and guiding aural rehabilitation sessions. While Ashlea enjoys working with people of all ages, Ashlea’s educational background also includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. Therefore, she has special knowledge and interest in working with adolescents, young adults, and children of all ages.
Ashlea is a Registered Audiologist with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiologists.
