Family-Run Audiology Clinic
The Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta was founded in 1982 by Ray and Adele Lewchuk. It was originally located in the Garneau Professional Centre and moved a few blocks south in 1989 to its current location on 109 Street.
Ray and Adele recognized a need for a private practice audiology clinic that would expand the options for quality hearing health care. Adele had diverse experience in public audiology care in Edmonton and Saskatoon, so the transition to private practice was a logical next step.
When the clinic first opened, Adele and Ray were grateful to their clients who referred their family and friends for audiology services. The Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta continues to grow from word-of-mouth support and referrals from physicians, so we strive for excellence of care for all clients and their families.
Today, Ray and Adele’s daughter, Laréna Lewchuk, continues to improve and expand the delivery of hearing and tinnitus services, but she remains grounded on her parents dedication to clinical and compassionate care.
