5 Minute Rule: Take off the battery sticker and wait 5 minutes before inserting the battery into your hearing aid. Waiting 5 minutes allows the battery to become fully charged.

Battery Life is approximately: [fd]

We recommend you change both batteries (if applicable) at the same time and on the same day every week.

Turn off the hearing aid by opening the battery door. Leave the battery door open when you are not using the hearing aid.

Turn on the hearing aid by closing the battery door. There should not be any resistance. If there is resistance the battery could be in upside down or not in securely.

Keep your hearing aid(s) away from excess moisture and hair products: Do not shower, bathe or swim with hearing aid(s). Insert your hearing aid(s) after applying hair products or makeup.

Storage: Every night (or when not in use) turn off your hearing aid(s) and place them in your white dehumidifier. You can leave the battery in the battery compartment. Do not store your hearing aid(s) in a moist place like the bathroom.

Daily Cleaning/Maintenance: In the evening, just before you store your hearing aid(s), wipe off the earmold(s) with a tissue or the cloth provided. Ensure the sound bore is clear. Remove any wax in the sound bore by using the black tool with the wire loop at the end to scoop out the wax. You can run the long black handled vent cleaner through the vent (if accessible) daily or weekly. Optional cleaning tools: The little brush to remove debris and the magnet to help insert/remove batteries.

Monthly Cleaning: (Only If you are very comfortable doing so) you can remove the earmold tube from the hearing aid and wash the earmold and tube with lukewarm soapy water. Rinse with clean water. Always ensure the earmold and tube are completely dry before attaching it back to the hearing aid.

Checking that the Battery is still good: If you hear a low battery warning change the battery. With the hearing aid turned on and in your ear, tickle the microphone, you should hear scratching. If you do not hear scratching, check the earmold to ensure it is not plugged. Tickle the microphone again. If the aid still does not work, change the battery.
