bio-adele-lewchukAdele Lewchuk, with the help of her husband, Ray, started the Audiology Clinic of Northern Alberta in 1982. Adele’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology (University of Saskatchewan – Saskatoon Campus) and a Master’s degree in Audiology (Minot State College). Before becoming an audiologist, Adele worked for the Department of Welfare in Saskatchewan where her caseload included the evaluation and supervision of adoption and foster homes. This caring and helping relationship transferred well to the profession of audiology. Her previous employment sites included the audiology departments at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Charles Camsell Hospital, and University of Alberta Hospital and the Saskatchewan Hearing Aid Plan in Saskatoon.

Adele loves being an audiologist and after over 35 years as an audiologist, she continues to be passionate about providing quality audiology services to her many long-time clients. With the many advancements in hearing aid technology, learning is on-going and Adele regularly attends conferences and seminars to remain knowledgeable about the latest technology. She is a Registered Audiologist with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiologists and the Alberta Association of Audiologists.
