*Please note that the time and date cannot be changed. Draw winners must be able to attend the above showtimes
The Walterdale theatre is one of the longest running community theatres in Western Canada and is a non-profit run by passionate volunteers.
What makes the theatre even more special is its commitment to making the space and performances accessible to everyone. In 2016, the Walterdale Theatre won a Mayor’s Award for Accessibility, specifically for “installing a hearing loop for those with hearing challenges so they can enjoy the theatre just like anyone else.”
What is a hearing loop you ask? You can read about Loop systems in one of our previous posts by clicking HERE. Or you can watch the video below of Richard Hatfield from the Walterdale theatre explain how the loop system can help those with hearing aids enjoy their threatre experience. If you would like to know if your hearing aid is compatible with a Loop system, you can contact our clinic at 780-433-4441.
